You requested:
1. The total number of staff currently working at the Ministry of Regulation, including:
- Total number of permanent staff
- Total number of fixed-term staff
- Total number of seconded staff
2. The total number of staff that hold management positions and number of staff per
management tier.
3. Salary bands and the total number of staff in each salary band.
4. The position titles associated with each salary band.
5. The payment arrangement for staff seconded to the Ministry of Regulation. Who pays
for them?
6. Employee demographics
- Workforce ethnicity by percentage
- Workforce gender by percent
- workforce ethnicity and gender by percent
- management ethnicity by percentage
- management gender by percent
Extension of timeframe to make a decision
The OIA requires that we advise you of our decision on your request no later than 20 working days
after the day we received your request. Unfortunately, it will not be possible to meet that time
limit. We are therefore writing to notify you of an extension of the time to make our decision, to 8
July 2025.
This extension is necessary because consultations necessary to make a decision on your request
are such that a proper response cannot reasonably be made within the original time limit.
