Official Information request – Demographics and Related Info: PGDipPsych(Clin)
I refer to your request for official information of 21 May 2025 in which you have requested the
following information for PGDipPsych (Clin) (
Course) for the period of 2024 to 2025:
1.
Breakdown of successful applicants who were given an offer of place (after the interview stage of
selection i.e successful interviewees only) into the course by;
- Specific ethnicity (White European, Asian, Maori, Pacifica or other) and their average GPA
- International student status (are they an international applicant) and their average GPA
- Age (21-30, 30-40, 40+) and their average GPA

Breakdown of unsuccessful applicants who were not given an offer of place (that is those who were
selected for the interviewing stage but were unsuccessful) by;
- Specific ethnicity (White European, Asian, Maori, Pacifica or other) and their average GPA
- International student status (are they an international applicant) and their average GPA
- Age (21-30, 30-40, 40+) and their average GPA

collected. Therefore, the University withholds your request for a breakdown of unsuccessful
applicant information pursuant to section 9(2)(a) of the Act to protect the privacy of all
unsuccessful applicants.
