INFORMATION REQUEST
On 27 June 2025 you asked for follow up information about the external payments. Here is
our response to your questions:
1. A breakdown of the 25 highest-value payments made to external
consultants, professional service firms, contractors, or legal advisors between
1 January 2023 and 31 December 2024. For each of these 25 payments, please
provide the following:
- Supplier name
- Description of the service or work provided
- Amount paid
- Date of invoice or payment
- Council department or project the payment relates to (if held)
We have reviewed the scope of your request and estimate that it would take 3 hours
of staff time to search, retrieve, and collate the information. Our decision is to charge
for the provision of this information, the charge would be $230. Information about
charging can be found here https://www.tauranga.govt.nz/council/fees-and-
charges/official-information-request-fees.
We have taken into account the time spent on your requests to date in our decision
to charge for this information, our last response was estimated at 10 hours required
to collate and review the information.
