as an
Appendix.
We do not currently have a separate position description for layperson members.
The only difference between a layperson member and a social worker member is
that the layperson member is not to be a registered social worker.
…and how many days they attend Social Workers Complaints and
Disciplinary Tribunal business each year since 1st Jan 2020.
This part of your request has been transferred to the Social Workers Registration
Board who we believe holds this information.
Are you anticipate to call any public expression of interest this year?
At this stage, no decisions have been made regarding whether a call for public
expressions of interest will be issued this year.
I will be publishing this decision letter, with your personal details deleted, on the
Ministry’s website in due course.
If you wish to discuss this response with us, please feel free to contact
[MSD request email].

If you are not satisfied with my decision on your request, you have the right to
seek an investigation and review by the Ombudsman. Information about how to
make a complaint is available
at www.ombudsman.parliament.nz or 0800 802 602.
