Re: Annual Budget for "Pride” 
 
Thank you for your email dated 25 February 2025, in which you requested information about 
Auckland Council's annual Budget for "Pride". The specific details of your request and our 
response are below. 
 
This year I see there is significant spending on "pride" in February

Would you kindly share  
  1.  the accounts payable data in CVS format with date and line item for the Pride 
month cost centre. 
 
Auckland Council does not have a specific cost centre for Pride Month. Most Pride activities 
are included in programming budgets for our centres. Therefore, the information requested is 
not able to be provided under section 17 (e) of the Local Government Of icial Information 
and Meetings Act 1987 (LGOIMA); that the document alleged to contain the information 
requested does not exist or, despite reasonable efforts to locate it, cannot be found. 
 
However, staff have manually collated the costs for pride activities for centres, activations 
and the grant to Auckland Pride Festival, which are below:
