I refer to your official information request dated 17 April 2025 regarding the proposed bus stop on Tyler 
Davies Drive, Red Beach, for the Route 983. 
 
Please find a response to your questions below. 
 
All safety assessments, parking impact studies, and demand analyses specific to Tyler Davies 
Drive. 
Please find attached a copy of the Safe Systems Audit completed in February 2025, as well as the Red 
Beach Parking Survey conducted on 14 and 16 November 2024. 
 
Evaluations of alternative sites (e.g., Taikura or Kukuwai Avenues) and reasons for their 
rejection. 
Currently Auckland Transport (AT) have paused the route change while we look at other 
alternatives.  Evaluation of alternative routes is ongoing and at this stage none of these has been 
rejected outright, therefore your request is declined under section 17(e) as the requested information 
does not exist.   
 
The full text and submission details of the petition opposing the Tyler Davies Drive stop (noted in 
AT’s 20 Feb 2025 email). 
AT did not receive a copy of the petition created on Change.org during our engagement period. 
Therefore, your request is declined under section 17(e) as the requested information does not exist.   
 
We trust this clarifies your request, but should you believe that we have not dealt with your request 
appropriately, you are able to make a complaint to the Office of the Ombudsman in accordance with 
section 27(3) of the LGOIMA Act and seek an investigation and review in regard to this matter.
