I refer to your request dated 13 February 2025 for all communications between NZTA and council staff 
about moving the bus stop from Taikura Avenue, Red Beach to Tyler Davies Drive, Red Beach as part of the 
983 Bus Service. 
AT informed the public by post about our intention to make changes to bus stops along the 983 Bus Service 
route. The inform period was open from 5 February 2025 to 21 February 2025 and we asked people to let us 
know if there was information we needed to know before we proceeded with the installation of infrastructure 
to support the 983 bus service. 
As part of improving the 983 Bus Service in Red Beach we planned to move the bus stop located at 10 Taikura 
Avenue to 30 / 32 Tyler Davies Drive to improve visibility for both buses and motorist. 
On March 14, 2025, we notified people who reached out to us during the inform engagement period that we 
will re-evaluate the 983 bus route based on all feedback received and wil  reconnect with the community if 
there are any further updates. 
We have provided all communications AT holds in relation to your request. 
Some information such as names and contact details has been withheld under section 7(2)(a) of the LGOIMA, 
to protect the privacy of natural persons, including that of deceased natural persons. 
If you believe that we have not appropriately addressed your request, you may file a complaint with the Office 
of the Ombudsman under section 27(3) of the LGOIMA to seek an investigation and review of this matter.
