I refer to your official information request dated 2 February 2025 regarding the historic MAXX/ARTA 
services. 
 
Your request for patronage numbers and frequency data for the MAXX/ARTA services is declined under 
section 17(g) of the LGOIMA as the requested information is not held by Auckland Transport. 
 
Unfortunately, this service was operated by The Auckland Regional Transport Authority (ARTA) which was 
before the establishment of Auckland Transport, therefore we do not hold this information. 
 
 
We trust this clarifies your request, but should you believe that we have not dealt with your request 
appropriately, you are able to make a complaint to the Office of the Ombudsman in accordance with 
section 27(3) of the LGOIMA Act and seek an investigation and review in regard to this matter.
