Purpose of Role
To effectively lead the Harbourmaster Services to ensure maritime safety in the
Buller region.

Hours of work
Full time Permanent – 40 hours per week, worked across 7 days – when these hours are
worked will depend on requirements to service our clients with a degree of autonomy for
the role holder

The Buller District Council is the territorial authority for the northern West Coast. Our goal is to promote the well-
