Thank you for your request for information about Te Kaha O Te Rangatahi Incorporated
(CC31970), which was received by the Department of Internal Affairs (the Department) on
the 14 January 2025.
You have requested the fol owing:
al documents, financial documents, and correspondence (internal and external)
relating to the registration and deregistration
In response to your request, please refer to the attached appendices. Appendix A contains
the charity’s registration documents, while Appendix B includes the deregistration
documents.
Some information has been withheld pursuant to the fol owing sections of the Act:
Section 9(2)(a) the withholding of the information is necessary to protect the privacy of
natural persons, including that of deceased natural persons.
9(2)(g)(i )
the withholding of the information is necessary to maintain the effective
conduct of public affairs through the protection of such Ministers,
members of organisations, officers, and employees from improper
pressure or harassment
You can find financial documents for a charity on the Charities Services website at
www.register.charities.govt.nz/CharitiesRegister/Search. Simply enter the charity’s name in
the search function, then select the ‘Annual Returns’ tab and choose a year. This wil provide
information about the charity’s income and expenses. I must therefore refuse this portion of
your request pursuant to section 18(d) of the Act as the information requested is publicly
available. Please note that there are no additional financial documents available. Everything
the Department holds is published on the Charities Services website.
