Thank you for your email of 8 April 2025 requesting the following information under the Official 
Information Act 1982 (the Act): 
 
Please provide any correspondence relating the SH49 / Teitei Drive intersection between 
2015-2025 to GHD or Ruapheu District Council 
 
Following receipt of your request, NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi (NZTA) asked you to refine the 
scope by providing either a more specific time period, a team or inbox you would like searched or 
particular keywords that may help narrow the broad scope of your request. On 17 April 2025, you 
advised the time period would have been from 2018 and provided additional context as to the type of 
information you are seeking and the reasons behind it. 
 
Despite searching through our internal databases and across all NZTA inboxes, no such 
documentation or correspondence can be found. It is on this basis that I am refusing your request 
under section 18(e) of the Act because the document alleged to contain the information requested 
does not exist or, despite reasonable efforts to locate it, cannot be found. 
 
Under section 28 of the Act, you have the right to ask the Ombudsman to review my decision to refuse
