Thank you for your email of 19 October 2024 to Te Kaunihera o Pōneke | Wel ington City Council (the 
Council) requesting the following information: 
 
•  2024 October 17 minutes referred to the existence of Draft Development plan for MFC. 
 
Please provide the current referenced Draft Development plan for MFC and also provide the 
draft development plans for Bond Store and Opera House. 
 
Your request has been considered under the Local Government Of icial Information and Meetings Act 
1987 (LGOIMA).  
 
The Draft Te Ngākau Precinct Development Plan Consultation Document and the Te Ngākau Precinct 
Wide Draft Development Plan have since been released on the Council’s website and can be found 
here. As the requested information has been made public, I am refusing this part of your request 
pursuant to section 17(d) of the LGOIMA, as the information requested is or wil  soon be publicly 
available.  
 
There are currently no draft development plans for Bond Store or the Opera House. For this reason, I 
am refusing this portion of your request pursuant to section 17(e) of the LGOIMA, as the document 
alleged to contain the information requested does not exist or, despite reasonable efforts to locate it, 
cannot be found.  
 
You have the right, by way of complaint under section 28(1) of the LGOIMA, to request an 
investigation and review of the Council’s decision to refuse information by the Ombudsman.
