I refer to your request for official information of 17 October 2024 in which you have requested the 
following information: 
“(a) Plan of action that was said to be developed after the Gardiner-Parata review and (b) Taskforce membership 
panel structure and (c) Minutes of this Taskforce and (d) Reports by the Taskforce”. 
Under the Official Information Act 1982 (Act) the University of Waikato (University) has considered 
your request and responds as follows. 
1.  The University refuses your request for the information referred to in questions a) and b) under 
section 18(d) of the Act as the information is publicly available at

2.  The University refuses your request for minutes of the Taskforce under section 18(e) of the Act as 
the document alleged to contain the information does not exist.   
3.  The University refuses your request for reports by the Taskforce under section 18(d) of the Act 
as the information is publicly available at
