Re: Auckland Council Organisation Chart
Thank you for your request dated
10 August 2024. The specific details of your request and
our response are below.
Please provide me with a complete current organisation chart for Auckland Council,
with names (where those are not redacted for privacy reasons) for appointments in
positions.
Auckland Council is a large organisation and the information you have requested is more
readily available by way of the attached excel file. Please find at ached a copy of our
organisational structure.
Please note, the information provided shows:
- The data is specific to Auckland Council only as per the request
- The data is accurate as at 5 September when the data was pulled
- The Organisation Chart is updated as required to reflect any changes in the roles
required to provide our services to Auckland
- The data includes Permanent Full Time, Permanent Part Time, Fixed Term Full
Time, Fixed Term Part Time and Casual employee types only
- The data highlights positions which are Active and not Vacant
- The data excludes Elected Representatives
Considerations were made under Section
7(2)(f)(ii), and the decision has been made to
withhold the names of staff members from the organisation list, except for Tier 1 and 2
leaders whose information is published publicly.
Please note the following information has been withheld, pursuant to the following sections
of the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987 (LGOIMA):

Section 7(2)(f)(ii) - to maintain the effective conduct of public affairs through the
protection of such Ministers, members of organisations, officers, and employees from
improper pressure or harassment.
