I refer to your official information request dated 17 June 2024 regarding the resealing of Yelash Road.
Auckland Transport (AT) has received no funds directly from landowners to contribute to the resealing of
Yelash Road.
Waitakere City Council (WCC) and Auckland Council col ect rates to cover the maintenance and renewal of
the road network in accordance with the Local Government Act 2002.
Auckland Council has provided for funding for upgrading unsealed roads in the 2025 – 2034 Long term Plan.
The roads to be upgraded are selected based on the Unsealed Road Improvement Programme prioritisation
process as outlined on AT’s websit

appropriately, you are able to make a complaint to the Office of the Ombudsman in accordance with section
