Thank you for your request of 21 May 2024 to Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities, for the 
following information under the Of icial Information Act 1982 (the Act):  
“Please provide copies of feedback documents sent to the review panel on the review interim 
report and the correspondence provided to ministers on the same day.” 
A copy of the Board’s response to the Interim Review Report is attached. Some information has been 
withheld under section 9(2)(f)(iv) of the Act to maintain constitutional conventions for the time being 
which protect the confidentiality of advice tendered by officials.  
I have considered the public interest considerations in section 9(1) of the OIA. I consider that the 
withholding of the information from this response is not outweighed by considerations that render it 
desirable in the public interest to make that information available. 
This document was sent to the reviewers on 15 April 2024, and a copy was hand delivered to the 
Minister of Housing by the Acting Board Chair on the same day. There was no other correspondence 
provided to Ministers on 15 April 2024. 
Under section 28(3) of the Act, you have the right to seek an investigation and review by the
