Farebox Recovery Targets and actual funding received for the current financial period
for:
a) Greater Christchurch Buses

agency grants.
We cannot provide complete answers to your request, however, below you can find an
overview of the answers we can provide for the current financial period to date (July
2023 – Feb 2024). With regards to the Farebox Recovery Targets, we can only provide

The Fare Revenue for Greater Christchurch Ferries and Timaru MyWay are withheld
pursuant to section 7 (2)(b) of the Local Government Official Information and
Meetings Act 1987 due to commercial sensitivity. Farebox recovery is calculated from
revenue and operating costs. As operating costs are commercially sensitive, we are
unable to release individual components that make up the farebox recovery
calculation of individual routes. In this case we are unable to release the fare revenue
of Diamond Harbour Ferry and Timaru MyWay separately. The fare revenue of these

routes is included in the amount mentioned below for Greater Christchurch and
South Canterbury respectively.
