Thank you for your email of 10 March 2024 making the following request for information 
 
Dear Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment, Please provide a copy of 
documents prepared in relation to the review of the list of occupational disease set out 
in Schedule 2 of the Accident Compensation Act 2001. Please also provide a copy of the 
draft and final report of the panel of independent health experts in reviewing the list of 
occupational disease set out in Schedule 2 of the Accident Compensation Act 2001. Yours

I am writing to notify you that I am extending the timeframe for responding to your request 
under section 15A(1)(b) of the Act, as consultations necessary to make a decision on the 
request are such that a proper response cannot reasonably be made within the original time 
limit. 
 
We will now respond to your request on or before 7 May 2024, which is an extension of 20 
working days. However, we will try and respond to your request as soon as possible.  
 
You have the right to seek investigation and review of my decision by the Ombudsman, in 
accordance with section 28(3) of the Act. The relevant details can be found at: 
www.ombudsman.parliament.nz.
