Please provide the previously redacted sale price that was to be paid to Ruapehu District 
Council for the land. 
 
I am withholding this information under section 7(2)(i) of the Local Government Official Information and 
Meetings Act to enable any local authority holding the information to carry on, without prejudice or 
disadvantage, negotiations (including commercial and industrial negotiations). 
 
In making this decision, I consider that this wil  enable the Ruapehu District Council to carry out future 
negotiations without prejudice or disadvantage. 
 
The public interest in this information was considered, however, it was concluded that the public 
interest in the information is not outweighed by the need to withhold it.
