Thank you for your request, received on 17 February 2024, for the following information under the
Of icial Information Act 1982 (the Act):
“the dates and the cost of any staff meetings held at external venues for the Electricity
Authority from 1 January 2023. For clarification - costs should include the venue and
equipment hire, and catering costs for each meeting.”
The Authority has provided a table in Appendix A which displays the costs of staff meetings where
the Authority has hired the venues for an internal Authority event between 1 January 2023 and the
date of your request. These costs include catering, venue and equipment hire, and other costs
related to the meeting. Please note that this information does not include stakeholder events where
the Authority has hired a venue and third parties have attended.
You have the right to seek an investigation and review by the Ombudsman of this decision.
