locations.
We refer to your email of 13 January 2024, which includes requests for information
under the Local Government Official Information & Meetings Act 1987. Your particular
requests and responses are set out below:
Re: Official Information Act Request - Tsunami Siren Locations
I trust this letter finds you wel . I am writing to request information under the
Official Information Act 1982 concerning the locations of all tsunami sirens within
the jurisdiction of the Timaru District Council.
I am seeking comprehensive information, including but not limited to:
A detailed list of all locations where tsunami sirens are currently installed within
the Timaru District Council's jurisdiction.
The technical specifications and capabilities of each tsunami siren, including
make, model, and any relevant contact details for maintenance or emergencies.
Any recent maintenance records or reports related to the tsunami sirens within
the specified area.
A map or set of maps indicating the precise locations of each tsunami siren within
the Timaru District Council's governing area.
