The Official Information Act requires that we advise you of our decision on your request no later 
than 20 working days after the day we received your request. Unfortunately, it wil  not be possible 
to meet that time limit and we are therefore writing to notify you of an extension of the time to 
make our decision, to 15 January 2024.   
 
This extension is necessary because meeting the original time limit would unreasonably interfere 
with our operations at a time when col eagues are extremely busy on behalf of our students. In 
addition, the University closes on 15 December 2023 and reopens on 8 January 2024.  
 
You have the right to seek an investigation and review by the Ombudsman of this decision.
