I support the Teitei drive development.
The suggestion to develop intensive social housing in Ohakune is simply a money 
grab exercise by the council and iw i. There are no support services, adequate 
schooling, adequate shopping, no doctors, one small chemist, to support a 
development of this nature. I have first hand experience of w hat this does to a 
neighbourhood having lived in Glenholme, Rotorua. Crime has significantly 
eaceful, quiet, safe, enough amenities to support the population

There is enough here for the current population

ohakune is stupid beyond reason. There is no w ork in the area to support an 
increased population. The nearest hospital is Wanganui. Ohakune is struggling to 
support itself w ith a fluctuating tourist market and seasons that are changing. 
Sw arming the tow n w ith unemployed people is a recipe for disaster and w il  
destroy a struggling tow n. 
The 50kmh zone ends just by the Carrot Park.  Drivers w il  often speed up 
to 70kph w hen they see the 70kph sign, not w hen they reach it.  This is a
