Thank you for your email of 7 October 2023 to the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment 
(MBIE) requesting, under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act), the following information: 
 
All correspondence regarding between MBIE and Minister Megan Woods regarding the Electrical Workers 
Registration Board Appointments and Reappointments from 1st October 2022 until the 1st September 
2023. 
 
I am writing to advise you that MBIE will provide a response but needs to extend the time available to 
answer your request. MBIE’s response will be sent to you no later than 4 December 2023 
 
The reason for the extension is that your request necessitates a search through a large quantity of 
information and meeting the original time limit would unreasonably interfere with our operations.
