Official Information Act 1982 Request
Our office received a request for information that was transferred in part to Toka Tū Ake EQC from
the Minister for Workplace Relations and Safety, Hon Carmel Sepuloni. This request is seeking the
fol owing under the Official Information Act 1982 (the OIA):
“Please provide the most recent report completed by the Government and their individual
agencies that have funding in excess of $20m that report on:
•
How the agency tackles exploitation risks in their operations and supply chains
•
Specifically looking for supply chains relating to individual agencies and electric cars
•
Specifically looking for supply chains relating to individual agencies and mobile phones
•
Specifically looking for supply chains for any products the government buys in bulk that
require rare earth minerals mined in third world countries contributing to modern slavery.”
Response
In response to your request for information we are refusing your request in full under section 18(e)
of the OIA, as Toka Tū Ake do not have any reports that addresses the information you are seeking.
