Thank  you  for  your  request  under  the  Official  Information  Act  1982  (the  Act)  which  was 
received  by  Health  New  Zealand  on  14  March  2023.  Specifically,  you  have  requested  the

“Can you please provide summarized data of sick leave for all staff at Capital and Coast from 
start of 2019 to end of 2022.  An example would be amount of staff absent per each day of 
the year due to il ness.” 
 
RESPONSE 
 
A summary of all sick leave taken by staff at Capital Coast, based on the year 1 July to 30 
June over the period 2019 to 2023 Year to Date, is set out below. 
These figures are inclusive of paid sick leave, unpaid sick leave and COVID special sick 
leave.
