We refer to your official information request to Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency, dated
1 July 2022 (their reference OIA-10448).
On 12 July 2022, Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency transferred that part of your request that
relates to the Wainuiomata Hill shared path to Hutt City Council, as below:

please provide the most recent safety audits and Safe System Assessment
Framework reports, specifically any reports involving risk assessment for Vulnerable
Road Users/road users outside of a vehicle, for the following projects: […]
4. Wainuiomata Hil shared path.”
We advise you that Hutt City Council does not hold safety audit or Safe System Assessment
Framework reports for Wainuiomata Hill shared path. Accordingly, your request for this
information is refused under section 17(g) of the LGOIMA, as the information requested is not
held by Hutt City Council and we have no grounds for believing that the information is either—
(1) held by another local authority or a department or Minister of the Crown or
organisation; or
(2) connected more closely with the functions of another local authority, or a department or
Minister of the Crown or organisation:
