Thank you for your email 1 July 2022 requesting information under the Official Information Act 1982 
(the Act) regarding the application of safety assessments for cycling facilities. You have requested: 
 
[…} the most recent safety audits and Safe System Assessment Framework reports, 
specifical y any reports involving risk assessment for Vulnerable Road Users/road users 
outside of a vehicle, for the following projects: 
 
1. Grafton Gully Cycleway 
2. Glenn Innes to Tamaki Drive path Stage 1  
 
3. Glenn Innes to Tamaki Drive path Stage 2  
4. Wainuiomata Hil  Shared Path  
5. Hutt Expressway (SH2) between Ngauranga Station and Petone  
6. Manawatū River Bridge (SH1)  
7. The intersection of the Waikato Expressway (SH1) and Gordonton Road (SH1B). 
 
Questions 2 and 3 of your request are more closely connected with the functions of Auckland 
Transport than with Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency. Therefore, I am transferring these two 
questions to Auckland Transport under section 14 of the Act. 
 
The time limit for their response to you is 20 working days from 19 July 2022 so you can expect a 
response from Auckland Transport on or before 16 August 2022.
