Thank you for your email dated 10 March 2022 requesting under the Official Information Act 1982
(the Act) the following information:

….a list of developers (company names) with the dates of the start and completion of
upcoming KiwiBuild properties for 2022/23 for the Auckland area
The table in attachment one outlines KiwiBuild homes expected to be delivered in 2022/23, that are
under construction or contracted to be built in the Auckland region as at 28 February 2022 through
the KiwiBuild underwrite programme. The information provided includes the name of the
development, the name of the developer, the location of the development, the number of Kiwibuild
homes and the anticipated construction finish of the last KiwiBuild home in the development.
Details of how many KiwiBuild homes completed, sold and available for sale is also provided.
Information on KiwiBuild developments that are yet to be announced and marketed for sale is
withheld under section 9(2)(b)(ii) of the Act, as providing this information would be likely to
unreasonably prejudice the commercial position of the person who supplied or who is the subject
of the information. Please note that responsibility for the sale of KiwiBuild homes lies with the
developers of those homes. The timing of the release of homes, or tranches of homes within a
development for sale, is also the responsibility of the developer, in agreement with Kāinga Ora –
Homes and Communities.
As new KiwiBuild developments are announced publicly and homes within those developments
become available to buy, they will be listed on the KiwiBuild website. Developers may also choose
to list the homes for sale through their own development website or via their sales agent(s). We
