RE Official information request CDHB 10791 
 
We refer to your email dated 25th December 2021 and logged 11th January requesting the following 
information under the Official Information Act from Canterbury DHB.   
 
Please provide a detailed breakdown of CDHB employees and contractors that have NOT received the 
mandated two doses of a Covid vaccine and have Not been stood down ie. Unvaccinated and stil  
employed. 
 
I would like this data broken down by role, and for clinical staff, further broken down by 
specialization, along with the reason or rationale for each exemption from the mandate. 
 
We are working on our response to your request, however, right now the work involved for dealing with 
Omicron for our health system must take priority. 
 
This means that a response to the request cannot reasonably be made within the original time limit. The 
Canterbury  DHB  therefore  requires  further time prior to issuing our  response.  The period of the 
extension is until 7th March 2022. 
 
We are permitted to make this extension under Section 15A of the Official Information Act 1982 and you 
have the right to complain to the Ombudsman about our decision to extend the time for responding.
