Thank you for your enquiry, which the Department received on Friday 29 January 2021. The Department will provide its response to your request as soon as practicable and within twenty working days. The 20th working day is 1 March 2021

Dear Department of Internal Affairs,
I am writing this to ask about the delays processing applications for citizenship by grant.

I’ve known many people who applied & approved within 3 weeks of time but some other are still waiting to be allocated to a case officer.

This is completely unfair & should be raised with Ombudsman.
