I refer to your request for information dated 12 November 2020, which was received by Greater
Wellington Regional Council (Greater Wellington) on 12 November 2020. You have requested the

“1) Can I please have a copy of the monthly rail fare revenue from July 2018?

The  information  requested  for  each  bus  PTOM  unit  for  the  period  mid-July  2018  (PTOM
commenced mid-July 2018) to 31 October 2020 is provided in Tab 4 on the attached Excel
spreadsheet titled 4 – Bus fare rev-unit.

The  information  requested  for  each  bus  route  for  the  period  mid-July  2018  (PTOM
commenced mid-July 2018) to 31 January 2020 is refused under section 17(g) of the Local
Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987 as Greater Wellington does not hold
it.  The reason we do not hold it is because we are unable to access detailed data that is more
than nine months old.

The information requested for each bus route for the period 1 February 2020 to 31 October
2020 is provided in Tab 5 on the attached Excel spreadsheet titled 4-Bus fare rev-route.

The  information  requested  for  the  period  mid-July  2018  to  31  July  2018  is  refused  under
section 17(e) of the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987 as it does
not exist. The reason that it does not exist is because full PTOM did not commence until mid-
July  2018  when  transfers  first  became  applicable  and  this  data  was  not  recorded  until  1
August 2018.

The information requested for the period 1 August 2018 to 31 October 2020 is provided in
Tab 10 on the attached Excel spreadsheet titled 9-10 Bus transfers & journeys.
