Dear John
REQUEST FOR INFORMATION
Thank you for your request dated 14 July 2020 under the Official Information Act 1982 (OIA)
for information relating to PTAC subcommittee minutes. Your request noted:
The minutes listed on the website are not up to date, many minutes only have
it to 2018 or even 2017, most recent minutes are not published.

To  ensure  transparency  and  public access  to  the  information, I  would  like to
request you to send me all the up to date minutes you have for all your ptac-
subcommittees listed on your website, from 2017 to now.

Also I would encourage you to upload these minutes to your website to ensure
public access to these information.

I  can  confirm  that  the  PHARMAC  website  contains  all  meeting  records  that  have  been
finalised for publication.
PTAC subcommittees do not have a regular meeting schedule and instead meet as required
to discuss  issues  referred  to them  by  PTAC or  PHARMAC. Once  a  subcommittee’s  advice
has  been  reviewed  by  PTAC,  records of  the  meeting  will  be  published  on  the  PHARMAC
website, in accordance with the PTAC Terms of Reference. PHARMAC endeavours to have
clinical  advice  records  published  within  70  business  days  of  a  meeting.  Currently  only
meetings  held  within  70  business  days  do  not  have  meeting  records  published  on  our
website. These  meeting records  will  be  uploaded  to  the  website  when  finalised  and  are
currently on target to meet our timeframe.
To retrieve PTAC subcommittee records, please visit our website. Please note that we may
withhold all or part of a record when it holds commercially sensitive information.
We trust that this information answers your query. Please get in touch with us if you have any
questions about this.
Yours sincerely
