Request made under the Official Information Act 1982 
 
Thank you for your email of 14 July 2020 requesting the following information under the Official 
Information Act 1982 (the Act): 
Please provide an extract of data from the system you currently use to track information 
requests submitted under the Official Information Act 1982. 
The extract should have the following details in a single row for each request that was 
submitted: 
- The title of the request. 
- The date your organisation received the request 
- The date of the final response from your organisation to that request, or the date you 
closed the request 
 
The following document fall within the scope of your request and are enclosed: 
•  Attachment 1: OIA statistics 
 
It is important to note that these statistics have been extracted from the Ministerial Services 
workflow tool following its go-live date on 1 October 2019. 
 
Certain information has been withheld under section 9(2)(a) of the Act. This section allows for the 
withholding of information to protect the privacy of natural persons, including that of deceased 
natural persons. 
 
With respect to the information that has been withheld, I do not consider there are any other 
factors which would render it desirable, in the public interest, to make the information available. 
 
Under section 28 of the Act, you have the right to ask the Ombudsman to review my decision to
