Dear New Zealand Police,
I would like to request any statistics/information held regarding
the use of Armed Offenders Squad New Zealand in situations where
the offender/s are not armed offenders/armed or known as dangerous
to the police, if any. I.e the use of AOS for warranted/warantless
drug raids not involving weapons in the last 3-5 years please.
secondly id like to request the legal requirements for
'reason to believe' or 'reason to suspect'
Giving the Bill of rights and Privacy acts i can only presume these
statements must have some sort of legal binding rules and/or
minimun standards by law as to what proof is required for this.
Yours faithfully,
