Dear New Zealand Lotteries Commission,
I would like to request under the Official Information Act some
information related to the demographics of lottery users. I would
like to request under the Act any research, surveys, or other
information that gives the demographics of or statistics about
users of the New Zealand Lottery. Information I'm looking for
includes, but is not limited to: ages, income levels, levels of
education, occupation, number of tickets/expenditure, how often
users play, and so on, with a break down by each individual product
that New Zealand Lotteries offers: Lotto, Keno, Big Wednesday,
Bullseye, and Instant Kiwi.
