It was good to speak to you the other day. As we discussed, we do not
capture the cost of convictions (as requested in your OIA). 
 
If you would like to change your request to something about the volumes of
convictions, or of people convicted, I would be happy to progress this
request.
 
Also I would like to draw your attention to a range of data published via
the Statistics New Zealand website about Convictions and Sentences, here -
