Under the Official Information Act (OIA), I would like to request the following information from Television New Zealand Limited regarding its production: Q&A with Jack Tame.

 

Regarding the communications surrounding the interview with the Israeli ambassador that aired on 21 April 2024

Please provide any communications between TVNZ, the Israeli ambassador or his relevant representatives, and any third party, relating to the conditions and briefing for the interview.

 

Please provide all external communications/records between TVNZ (including, but not limited to TVNZ’s employees, contractors, advisors, management, or leadership) and the Israeli ambassador or his relevant representatives, and any third party involved in the organising of the Q&A interview, which aired on 21 April 2024. Please ensure this is including, but not limited to, emails, systems records, file notes, text messages, meeting agenda, meeting minutes, physical documents, memos, Microsoft Teams chats, and any other form of digital or physical communication.

 

Please provide all external communications/records within TVNZ (including, but not limited to TVNZ’s employees, contractors, advisors, management, or leadership) regarding the Q&A interview with the Israeli ambassador. Please ensure this is including, but not limited to, emails, systems records, file notes, text messages, meeting agenda, meeting minutes, physical documents, memos, Microsoft Teams chats, and any other form of digital or physical communication.

 

Please provide any information regarding incentives received by TVNZ (including, but not limited to, its employees, contractors, productions, websites) for the interview with the Israeli ambassador which aired on 21 April 2024. This may include donations or other arrangements that would be of benefit to TVNZ (including, but not limited to, its employees, contractors, productions, websites).

 

Please provide any information regarding negotiations and arrangements (including, but not limited to, emails, systems records, file notes, text messages, meeting agenda, meeting minutes, physical documents, memos, Microsoft Teams chats, and any other form of digital or physical communication) made in order for this interview to proceed. Please include agreement on duration of interview, location of interview, as well as which topics or questions may be discussed, and those that were not to be discussed.
