Complaint to the Ombudsman filed.

From: Joshua Rogers

Dear New Zealand Police,

Thank you for your response.

However I have made a complaint to the Ombudsman as I firmly believe there would be emails relating to theft ex shop cases (or more commonly referred to as shoplifting).

I can guarantee if Bruce was to type "shoplifting", "Retail Crime", "Theft ex Shop" in his email search bar numerous emails would come up.

I would like all of those emails as outlined in section one "Any correspondence from Inspector Bruce Bird in relation to the investigation and resource management on theft ex shop cases."

Definition of correspondence from google:
"communication by exchanging letters, emails, or other messages."

Are you now saying Superintendent Bruce Bird has had zero communication with anyone relating to theft ex shop cases and the handling of them in his entire tenor as Superintendent of the Waikato District?

Simply "consulting" with Bruce Bird and him saying there are no memorandums or correspondence is hard to believe. Has he actually searched for any emails? Maybe some that he has forgotten about.

Also section 4 "Any correspondence or memorandum to the Hamilton file management centre in relation
to theft ex shop cases." is not necessarily from Bruce Bird, it could be from anyone in management. Please review this answer.

Yours faithfully,

Joshua Rogers
