public offices audited since 2020/21. You requested:
“I request a single data file (eg, a .csv) of the finalised maturity level assessments (overall

offices audited since FY2020/21
This part of your request is refused under section 18(e) of the Official Information Act as
“the document al eged to contain the information requested does not exist or, despite
reasonable efforts to locate it, cannot be found”. Te Rua Mahara o te Kāwanatanga Archives
New Zealand does not capture overal maturity of public offices and so cannot supply this
data.

This part of your request is refused under section 18(d) of the Official Information Act 1982,
as “the information requested is or will soon be publicly available”.
As you note in your request, the information requested is available on
www.archives.govt.nz/manage-information/how-we-regulate/monitoring-and-
audit/audit/audit-reports, but is not currently available as a data file. This information is
likely to be of public interest. Therefore, we will be making the
public office audit maturity
ratings by topic data available on
www.data.govt.nz/ in .csv format. We anticipate the data
to be publicly available by 4 December 2023, as there is significant col ation needed.
