I write as a New Zealand citizen.
Can I please request all correspondence between the Department of Internal Affairs and any related government agencies, with respect to the alignment of a digital identity and the health records of NZ citizens, using the proposed Digital Identity Trust Framework (currently under Select Committee review https://www.parliament.nz/en/pb/bills-an...)?
May I emphasise the inclusion of any correspondence material which discusses the alignment of any data from My Health Account and/or My COVID Record (overseen by the Ministry of Health) and it's potential integration and use under the Digital Identity Trust Framework.

I am refusing your request under section 18(e) of the Act as the information you have requested does not exist. The Digital Identity Services Trust Framework Bill (the Bill) does not intend to allow for the integration of data from multiple sources into a single location.

Given this response—can you confirm that the references to alignment of the DIA Digital Identity Trust Framework with My Health Account and My COVID Record (OIA request H202116945: https://fyi.org.nz/request/17769-my-vacc...) have been stipulated independent of the DIA's knowledge and collaboration?

Page 51: "Now these foundations are in place, they allow us to build more features on top of them such as vaccination and test certificates, but also provide alignment to the Digital Identity Trust Framework that is currently in Select Committee in preparation for a first reading in the house"
Page 53: "Based on W3C Verifiable Credentials standards, aligned to future digital identity trust framework legislation under consideration by parliament."
