YOUR OFFICIAL INFORMATION ACT (1982) REQUEST HBDHB REF: OIA2019025 
 
I refer to your Official Information Act request dated 19 February 2019 where you requested 
information from Hawke’s Bay District Health Board (HBDHB). Your questions and HBDHB’s 
response is provided below: 
 
(i)  What is the anticipated budget allocation toward the PHO, Health HB Ltd for the period 01 
July 2019 to 30 June 2020? 
 
(ii)  Will there be intended funding cuts toward the allocation?  
 
i) 
The budget for 2019/20 has not been finalised at this present point of time. We expect this 
to be available early in the new financial year of 2019/20. Therefore under Section 18 (d) 
we  are  unable  to  provide  this  information  at  this  time  but  expect  it  will  be  publically 
available in July 2019 as part of Health Hawke’s Bays’ Annual Report.  Health Hawke’s Bay 
Limited (PHO) and HBDHB have agreed to work together on achieving financial efficiencies 
within 2019/20 funding allocation.
