Can I please get a copy of the report into this fire, and any other information you have
pertaining to this fire?
Your request has been considered under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act). As you know,
Fire and Emergency New Zealand have released a copy of their report to you. Please find attached
the material held by WorkSafe. The names of some individuals have been withheld under section
9(2) (a) of the OIA which relates to the privacy of natural persons.
Under section 9(1) of the Act I do not consider that the withholding of this information is
outweighed by public interest considerations in making the information available.
You have the right to request a review of this response by the Ombudsman. Information about
