Request for Information 
 
I refer to your application dated 14 March 2018 in which you requested a copy 
of footage for a crash that occurred at the intersection of Straven and 
Fendalton Roads, Christchurch on 09/03/2018 @ approximately 8.30 pm. 
 
This file is under active investigation and information is not available for 
release at this time. 
 
I have considered your request in accordance with the Official Information Act 
1982 and the Privacy Act 1993. All information has been withheld pursuant to 
the following section: 
 
•  Section 6(c) Official Information Act 1982 - The release would be likely 
to prejudice the maintenance of the law, including the prevention, 
investigation and detection of offences and the right to a fair trial. 
 
If you are not satisfied with my response to your request you have the right to 
complain to the Office of the Ombudsman and seek an investigation and 
review of my decision.
