I have considered your request in accordance with the Official Information Act 
1982 and the Privacy Act 1993. Your request has been declined pursuant to 
the following section: 
 
•  Section 9(2)(a)Official Information Act 1982 - There is a need to protect the 
privacy of persons, including that of deceased persons. 
 
The public interest is satisfied in terms of Section 9(1) Official Information Act 
1982 by  the requester having the officer’s QID which means that the officer 
can be identified in the event of a complaint or misconduct etc.  
 
If you are not satisfied with my response to your request you have the right to 
complain to the Office of the Ombudsman and seek an investigation and
