On  5  December  2017  Greater  Wellington  Regional  Council  (GWRC)  advised  you  that  it  had 
transferred your request for information in its entirety to KiwiRail.   Following this transfer, GWRC, 
in  consultation  with  the  KiwiRail,  has  determined  that  it  should  respond  to  the  following  part  of 
your request directly: 
“5)  Can  I  please  have  a  copy  of  the  detailed  patronage  change  calculation  used  to  support  each 
Crown business case?” 
GWRC’s decision follows.  
The information you have requested is contained in the attached spreadsheet. 
If you have any concerns with the decision(s) referred to in this letter, you have the right to request
