J Cone
[FYI request #6367 email] Dear J Cone
On behalf of Gabriel Makhlouf, Secretary to the Treasury, I acknowledge receipt of
your email requesting:
“This request and a variety of others, arise at least in part from the rather non-
specific links in a previous request:
https://fyi.org.nz/request/6056/response/20695/attach/2/James%20Cone.pdf
I am making a series of separate requests, rather than one combined one, in
order to avoid including well-answered requests in any subsequent complaint to
the Ombudsman.
In so far as the response to any of these requests is to publish something on the
Web and then send a link to me, please feel free to send the same link(s) in
multiple responses.
Treasury Report T2017/478: Social Investment Panel's assessment of Track
Initiatives http://www.treasury.govt.nz/downloads/pdfs/b17-info/b17-3676217.pdf
contains a redaction on page 6, corresponding to the ellipsis in: ""within their
organisations.... Corrections • Corrections have access to"
Does the redaction contain the name of a State Agency?
If so, is the name of the State Agency a matter of opinion?
If not, please may I have the original content of the ellipsis, redacted to the
minimum sufficient extent to protect matters of opinion?”
Your request was received by the Treasury on 7 August 2017 and will be dealt with in
accordance with the provisions of the Official Information Act.
The Treasury may need to contact you to clarify your request. To facilitate this, and to
confirm your eligibility to make a request under section 12 of the Official Information
Act, would you please reply giving your personal email, phone number and postal
address
The Treasury will not publish your personal contact details or use the information for
any reason other than processing your request. The personal information you provide
will be subject to the requirements of the Privacy Act 1993 and the Official Information
Act 1982.
Yours sincerely
David Bonney
Ministerial Advisor
