Reporter Comments
This incident involved a Air conditioning motor that was mounted in the ceiling space
above a false ceiling. A small part of the motor had burnt itself out prior to our arrival and
sent a strong smell of electrical burning throughout the ground floor office space. The
brigade has through the process of elimination worked out that the air-conditioning unit 1
is at fault but have been unable to pin point the exact location. I have called the

company later in the day to confirm the cause.
