In September 2015, we got eight HPMV applications from Gleeson and Cox Transport Ltd for the
approval for these roads (McNicol Road, Tourist Road and Papakura-Clevedon Road). We have declined
all of them due to the route is not the approved HPMV route.
It looks like this new route is slipped from the AT’s feasibility study list. Currently, we don’t have any
solution and supporting documents to approve this route.
Hence decline this application with a note stating that the application will be reconsidered in three
months time (November 2016) for the approval process. In the meantime, AT will do the route
assessment.
