[FYI request #6041 email]
Dear D. Dahya
I write regarding your Official Information Act 1982 (the Act) request, specifically your
response on 20 July 2018 to the information provided to you by Mark Daldorf on 2
October 2017.
In an email sent to you on 31 July 2018 we requested you clarify your request. In order
to assist you with this, we provided you with some further information about Inland
Revenue’s Ending Employment Policy.
We have not received a response to this email. When making a request under the Act, it
is helpful if you can ask your question as specifically as possible, so it is clear what
information would be useful to you, and it meets the test of being asked with due
particularity as required by section 12(2) of the Act.
It is my view that your request does not meet the due particularity test required by the
Act. If there is specific information that would be helpful to you, please send another
request for information via the FYI website, or you can contact us directly via email at
[IRD request email].
Yours sincerely
Catherine Simpson
